Wrapped ADC (tADC ERC20 Token) - A  Guide

Native ADC tokens can now be converted to ERC20 tokens for use on the Ethereum network for Dapps, Smart contracts etc
They can be converted to and from ERC20 on a 1-to-1 basis. No new tokens are created or destroyed using this process.

This is a step by step guide to the process supplied by our partners at Tornomy

Step 1 - Create an account at Tornomy

Step 2 - Navigate to the ADC coin wrapping portal

ADC Coin Wrapping Portal

The following steps assume you already have a metamask wallet such as the chrome plugin and are used to the ERC20 token ecosystem. If so you can connect your wallet using the button on this page.

If you don't have a metamask wallet you can download one from the chrome plugin store (or equivalent on other browsers). Please note that you will need a small amount of Ethereum (Eth) to complete transactions on the Ethereum network.

Step 3 - ADC Conversion portal

Once your metamask wallet is connected you will see this page.

This is where you can convert both ways and also see the details of the smart contracts that enable the conversions.

Step 4 - ADC Conversion

Enter the amount of ADC tokens you want to convert and then click 'next'.

At this point, make sure you have your ADC wallet running or can send from an exchange. The next screen will ask you to confirm that you want to send the ADC and show you the network fee (in ADC)

Step 5 - Send ADC

The next screen gives you the amount and deposit address to send the ADC for conversion.

Step 6 - Waiting for transaction

In the top right of the screen you will see a pop-up waiting for the transaction to complete.

Step 7 - Waiting for confirmations

If you click on the 'Waiting for Deposit' button (as shown above) you will see the status of the transaction. The transaction is completed after 30 confirmations.

Step 7- Your tADC tokens are now available in your Metamask wallet

You will see 'Transaction Confirming' then 'Submitting to Ethereum' click the submitting to Ethereum button then click 'Submit to Ethereum' in the pop up that appears. This will open your metamask wallet where you can pay the gas fee. If is always useful to use Eth Gas Station to calculate the lowest fee.

Your tokens will now appear in your metamask wallet after being confirmed on the Eth network.

If this is the first time you have converted, see our guide on how to add custom tokens to your metamask wallet,
